La Graciosa Gastronomy
As to typical cuisine we highly recommended the fish soup with gofio escaldado, or lightly grilled freshly caught fish with small potatoes and a hot sauce.
Many tourists come only to try the delicious seafood paella or the traditional stew prepared on La Graciosa.
All the dishes have in common fresh and first quality ingredients, obtained from the richness of the sea surrounding the island. Also exquisite are the limpet mussels or sea snails, which pickled in vinegar are an excellent aperitif true to traditional recipe.
It is convenient that for lunch or dinner, you reserve a table in any of the restaurants encountered in Caleta del Sebo at least in the morning of the same day, to avoid long and unnecessary queues. There is room also for the less purist of tourist, and whose taste does not include fish, since you can also find some very good Italian restaurants and pizzerias or hamburguer places where to satiate your appetite.
